Q: I currently receive the Print Edition of Veterinary Practice News. Can I now get the Digital Edition, too?
A: No, you will need to change your subscription status from Print to Digital. Since Veterinary Practice News is free to qualified recipients, you will only be able to get one or the other. Click here to login in to your account and select "renew my subscription."
Q. I am already a digital edition subscriber, but I did not receive an email for the most recent issue.
A. The publisher has decided to change platforms from Blue Toad to GTxcel, formerly Texterity. Therefore, the digital edition notifications are coming from a new email address. Please check your SPAM or junk email filter for an email from the domain gtxcel.com or texterity.com and add us to your contacts so you can be sure to receive future emails. If you still cannot locate the email, please contact us at VPNservice@cdsfulfillment.com or 866-205-9342.
Q. Will I still have access to my old issues?
A. We will only be making from the August 2013 issue forward available on the new GTxcel platform. Unfortunately, you will lose access to all online issues prior to this.
Q. How quickly can I begin receiving the new digital edition?
A. Your digital subscription will start with the next issue as it is made available. We will send you an email notification.
ACCESSING YOUR DIGITAL EDITION
Q. What products can I use to read the digital edition?
A. You can read the digital edition:
• On your computer via your email account.
• On your tablet: iPad (Apple), Kindle (Amazon), or Android (Google Play).
• On your smart phone: iPhone (Apple) or Android (Google Play).
Q. Where can I go to download the apps?
A. iTunes for Apple devices; Amazon for Kindle devices; Google Play for Android devices.
Q. What’s the name of the app?
A. It’s the same as the magazine’s title – Veterinary Practice News.
Q. How can I access my digital edition on the app?
A. Once you have received the email with a link to the new digital edition, then you can go download the app onto your device. At this point the device will know that you are a subscriber, and you should be able to log-in with your email address and read your digital edition.
Q. I’m having trouble accessing my digital edition through the app. What should I do?
A. If you’re using an Apple (IOS) device, then click on "About This App” and then click on "Feedback.”
If you’re using an Android device, then click on the menu button in the app, then click "Account,” then click "Contact Us.”
Q. Can I read my digital edition offline?
A. Yes, once you have installed the App and fully downloaded the issue you can read it offline. Any videos included in the app, however, will not work offline.
Q. Can I share my email link with other people?
A. We do not recommend subscribers sharing their personal subscriber ID. This also will affect your ability to read the content on multiple devices (computer, tablet, phone).
Q. When you are inside the magazine and you want to share an article with a friend, how many friends can you share the article with?
A. The ability to share content is unlimited.
