You know the science, the disease process, and logical patient outcome; but, do you know how to most effectively convey these concepts to your audience? It is time to refine your lecture construction and presentation skills through the WVC Speaker Enhancement Training Series.

This limited enrollment course is instructed by veterinary leaders Steve Fox, DVM, MS, MBA, PhD and Michael Kowaleski, DVM, DACVS. Ms. Marsheila DeVan, highly sought out corporate trainer, rounds out the faculty for this exciting course that will guide you to be a polished speaker capable of communicating with a wide variety of people in large or intimate gatherings, in an array of situations. At the conclusion of the course you will have the skill set necessary to engage your audience and impact the comprehension of your message.

The course begins with an online instructional video, featuring Dr. Paul Mitchell, DVM, DAVDC who will share principles and recommendations on lecture construction that will enable you to become the speaker you have dreamed you could be. Next, you will convene with colleagues for an intensive three-day course where faculty will guide you in the most effective communication techniques. The final day of the course, you will present a short talk, which will be videotaped and critiqued by an industry expert.
