Description

Why are so many veterinarians choosing medical acupuncture for veterinarians?  Many of our graduates came to the Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians course after reaching a point in their career where they wanted to offer patients more than conventional methods that risked surgical complications, chronic pain, or intolerable side effects.

Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians (MAV) provides the only source for critically evaluated, scientifically based, and evidentially informed instruction in veterinary medical acupuncture and related techniques such as laser therapy and massage. Our comprehensive, highly orchestrated curriculum guides students through acupuncture, neurophysiology and neuromodulation.  You will learn how to appropriately implement scientific Medical Acupuncture and Integrative Neuromodulation or the MAIN techniques for:  *Disk disease *Spinal cord injury *Back and neck pain *Digestive disorders *Cranial and peripheral neuropathy *Lameness *Voiding dysfunction *Arthritis * Functional restoration *Immune dysfunction *Reproductive health *Post-surgical pain *Recovery following trauma *Dermatologic issues *Ocular pain *And much more!
