Veterinary Practice News Letter From The Editor: May 2010
Veterinarians and managers of veterinary practices are eligible to enter Dr. Matt Wright’s AnimalInsides.com $3,000 prize giveaway.
The contest, “Preventing Disaster,” is sponsored by VetSymphony, Animal Insides, DVMinsight and DVMconnexx.
Given the economy, says Wright, DVM, Dipl. ACVR, “Financial planners, consultants and other gurus all recommend an approach to prevent further disaster in your practice. The best way to do that is to control your downside risk and keep an eye on the day-to-day changes in your practice so you can address issues before they arise.”
The prizes are:
A one-year subscription to VetSymphony, which aims to help you manage your practice and manage your managers.
A six-month free digital image archive with the DVMinsight Imagebank to keep data safe.
- A free points-of-failure risk assessment from DVMconnexx to keep the practice’s information technology in order.
To enter, go to AnimalInsides.com/giveaway.html and fill out the form at the bottom of the page. The drawing will be held June 15.
Apologies to Dr. Alice Villalobos. An attempt to deal with an ambiguous preposition in her April column, “We’ve Come a Long Way in 40 Years,” introduced a factual error which, she noted in pointing it out, made her early take on FeLV-positive cats that have lymphoma “look very quacky indeed."
