Veterinary Practice News Letter from the Editor: December 2009
The holidays seem to bring out a homey touch in many of us, and in our workplaces as well.
Here at BowTie Inc., the parent company of Veterinary Practice News, we observe The 12 Days of Christmas with big spreads of calorie-laden holiday goodies. Occasionally a vegetable plate, fruit bowl or salad appears, but mostly the repast includes the kinds of home-baked goods people bother with only at the end of the year.
Does your office or clinic have a special way of observing the holidays? Maybe you post greeting cards and patient photos in your waiting room and send cards yourself. Maybe staffers wear holiday-themed scrubs.
Please take a few minutes to let me know how your clinic marks the holidays and I’ll share it with readers. Maybe you’ll inspire colleagues to create traditions. Send photos if you have them.
And if your observances are more quiet than usual this year, in the face of the economy, let us know that, too.
However you choose to mark the end of 2009, we at Veterinary Practice News wish you health and happiness and a prosperous 2010.
