On the Road to NAVC

By Marilyn Iturri

Editor of VeterinaryPracticeNews.com and Veterinary Practice News

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As the first big veterinary conference of the year approaches, the pace picks up in our editorial offices here in Irvine, Calif.

We are busy making appointments with newsmakers and planning meetings witih clients and readers, and generally looking forward to kicking off the new year at the North American Veterinary Conference.

Typically, we look forward to the good weather in Orlando, Fla., but temperatures there haven’t been all that inviting this past week. So this year we’ll plan to dress in layers and be ready for whatever the weather gods have to welcome us with.

A good portion of our time at NAVC will be devoted to prowling the exhibit hall aisles to see what’s new and sitting in on seminars to learn about new and evolving medical situations and approaches.

But I always look forward to meeting our readers at conferences. We hope you’ll take a moment to stop by the Veterinary Practice News booth, No. 619 in the Gaylord, to say hello and let us know what you’d like to see in the magazine and on our website. We value your input!

Safe travels to those of you planning to attend NAVC.
