StopLik is manufactured by the private company Rockway Inc. in Spring Valley, Wis., which specializes in pharmaceutical preparations.
StopLik is a lick deterrent that wraps over a bandage to protect the treated area. It delivers a mild stimulus -- less than 1/200th the strength of a static shock -- when the animal licks it. It can be used in treatment of lick granulomas, and to keep animals from licking surgical sites and from removing IVs, urinary cathethers or Seton drains.
StopLik is sold only through licensed veterinarians.
