 While there are many joyful moments in a lifetime of pet ownership, aging, weight issues, and genetic characteristics can lead to late-in-life chronic pain and mobility issues. It can be an emotional time for a pet’s family, who is faced with a heartbreaking choice between supporting a pet that is living in discomfort or increasing medication and engaging in complicated treatments.
