No illnesses or injuries have been reported. Ingesting plastic can cause vomiting, decreased appetite, lethargy, abdominal discomfort, or, in severe cases, intestinal obstruction. Pet owners whose dogs consumed the product and show symptoms are advised to contact a veterinarian.

The company initiated the recall after receiving complaints and reported implementing corrective actions. No other Fromm products are affected. Consumers are advised to stop feeding the recalled product and may return it to the retailer. Questions can be directed to the company's customer service line or email at info@frommfamily.com.
