Fromm Family Foods has voluntarily recalled 300 cases of its Bonnihill Farms BeefiBowls Beef Recipe frozen dog food due to possible plastic contamination. The affected product, sold in 16-ounce chubs with a best-by date of December 25, 2026 (Lot Code: B01), was distributed through regional pet stores in several U.S. states — including Illinois, Wisconsin, Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Louisiana, California, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska — as well as in Ontario, Canada. No illnesses or injuries have been reported. Ingesting plastic can cause vomiting, decreased appetite, lethargy, abdominal discomfort, or, in severe cases, intestinal obstruction. Pet owners whose dogs consumed the product and show symptoms are advised to contact a veterinarian. The company initiated the recall after receiving complaints and reported implementing corrective actions. No other Fromm products are affected. Consumers are advised to stop feeding the recalled product and may return it to the retailer. Questions can be directed to the company’s customer service line or email at info@frommfamily.com.
