FDA authorizes generic drug to treat NWS in pets

The agency has issued an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for generic nitenpyram tablets to treat New World screwworm (NWS) infestations (myiasis) in dogs and cats weighing at least 2 lb and are at least four weeks old.
