The American Association of Equine Veterinary Technicians and the San Dieguito Equine Group plan to host a series of wetlabs on Aug. 6, 2012, in conjunction with the American Veterinary Medical Association Convention Aug. 4-7, 2012, in San Diego. The event will be held at the San Dieguito Equine Group’s facilities in San Marcos, Calif., and participants will be eligible for 7 RACE-certified continuing education credits. Lab topics include: Anatomy and Nerve Blocks: Dissection of the Equine Limb; Digital Radiology: Positioning, Equipment; Ultrasound Techniques; and MRI: Demonstration, Image Acquisition, Technician Role.
