Early bird registration now open for WVC

The annual event will be held March 5 to 9, 2017

The Western Veterinary Conference (WVC) has released the preliminary program for the 89th Annual Conference March 5 to 9, 2017 at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

Around 15,000 veterinary professionals go to the WVC every year, attending the many lectures and hands-on labs covering six areas: small animal, equine, veterinary technician, practice management, food animal, and avian and exotics. In 2017, the WVC will offer a new session called "A World Worth Saving," featuring Joel Sartore, National Geographic Photographer and founder of the landmark project for biodiversity: Photo Ark. There will also be the Hill's Comedy night, featuring comedian Kathleen Madigan, and Merck's Concert at the House of Blues will feature artist Gary Allan.

"Participants will not only have an opportunity to learn and grow their careers choosing from over 1,000 hours of CE, but they will be inspired, entertained, and invigorated with the variety of events and activities offered," said WVC CEO David Little. "Couple this with more than 500 exhibitors showcasing innovative products and services, and you will find a truly immersive and unforgettable Conference in 2017."

Early bird registration ends October 29, 2016. For more information, visit the WVC website.
