16th International Herbal Symposium Date/Time Jun 9, 2023 to Jun 11, 2023 Description United Plant Savers will be hosting its 16th International Herbal Symposium, a celebration of a three decade legacy of herbalists healing the planet and people with plants, Susan Leopold, Executive Director announced today. Said Leopold, “This event celebrates the rebirth of American herbalism with its roots of 30 years held at Wheaton College in Norton, MA. We are thrilled to have more than 60 teachers, including world renowned author and herbalist Rosemary Gladstar, presenting how native plants and herbs really hold the future of human and veterinary health nationally and globally. ” American herbalism is now a six billion dollar industry with roots all across the spectrum of life in the country. Both United Plant Savers and the Symposium were founded by Gladstar, who has been teaching and learning about herbal medicine for at least 40 years. First held in 1991, the International Herbal Symposium has touched and improved thousands of lives by bringing together herbalists from across the globe to exchange information about the healing power of plants. At the Symposium, people from diverse backgrounds and ways of working with medicinals can provide and share information about the benefits of native plants and herbs. Concluded Leopold, “We are especially pleased to be able to host an in-person gathering this year, but the last virtual symposium was so successful that we are offering that feature again this year. So, whether you are near or far, you will be able to participate in this fabulous and informative event.” To participate virtually, sign up here. For registration in person, sign up here.
