Free AVMA Webinar Helps Vet Students Transition Into Practice

The “Surviving the Transition from Vet School to Practice” will be held on June 27.

Just got out of vet school and have no idea what  to do in your veterinary career? Well, you’re in luck! The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) is holding a free webinar called “Surviving the Transition from Vet School to Practice” on June 27 at 10 a.m. PST.

According to the AVMA website, “the live presentation [from Chicago-area practitioner Dr. Jim Park] will cover such areas as the job search, contract considerations, and ways to impress one’s new boss and clients.”

Dr. Park is a 2007 graduate from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, and is an associate at Care Animal Hospital in Arlington Heights, Ill.
