The product has been used for a range of small- and large-animal indications, including contaminated wounds, dental abscesses, deep lacerations, bite wounds, necrotic tissue, infected tendon sheaths, septic joints, postoperative orthopedic infections and hoof abscesses.
The products, which were recently released, are being used in more than 600 veterinary clinics and by 40 veterinary schools and teaching hospitals worldwide, according to Frederick, Md.-based Royer.
