Lymphocytosis: Not always a cancer diagnosis

Finding significant lymphocytosis in a patient typically sends veterinarians on a search for cancer. Although there are other diseases that can cause elevated lymphocyte counts, they are a distant second to many different types of hematopoietic cancer.
