Check out this year’s contest winner, runners-up, and honorable mentions.

Honorable Mention

Comfort 'food'

The patient presented for straining to urinate, and the doctor recommended an X-ray to check the bladder for urinary stones. Upon reviewing the radiograph, the patient was admitted for foreign body surgery because we found what appeared to be a teddy bear in its stomach. The surgery was performed without a hitch, and the patient's favorite teddy bear was removed without issue. The clients elected not to keep the teddy bear, and the patient has since recovered and is doing much better!
